This is something that we find heartbreaking. We have called Thailand our home for the last 3 years and we cannot disagree more with the bad reputation that Thailand often has gained over the last few years. We live in a local city and we go on holiday in touristy and more off the beaten track destinations. Thailand can be really quiet and relaxing, local people are lovely and honest, food is safe, authentic, delicious and cheap and the natural sights are breathtaking.
